MILITARY AND VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS

Mastering the Positive (M+) is personally committed, passionate, and connected to this segment of the market. With a clear understanding of the needs of this community, M+ offers specific and focused education and training in Soft Skills. Since the owner of M+ is a disabled-veteran himself, he clearly understands the challenges faced by military citizens needing to transition to the civilian workforce, wounded warriors returning from post-war activities, and veterans struggling to adapt to day-to-day activities. M+ makes special efforts to reach out to this group using direct contact with military associations, the Veteran Administration, VFW and Civic groups.

BUSINESSES

Businesses, whether large or small, are the heartbeat of every community. For many employees, the business workplace is where lasting friendships are made, their lives have purpose, and they have the means to support their families. M+ understands that when the workplace is disrupted for any reason, both the employee and the business can suffer. Therefore, M+ offers a wide variety of education and training services tailored for keeping businesses and their work places healthy and their employees engaged.

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

School leadership and teachers face daily challenges including increased workload, lack of funding, testing demands, poor student behavior, and poor parental involvement and/or behavior. With these challenges, many teachers burn-out because they are not properly refreshed or encouraged. At the same time, students face their own challenges from bullying, lack of sleep or interest, hunger, bad relationships including the home, and academic paralysis. Both groups meet daily with their own set of challenges converging in the classroom. Problems ensue daily. Both groups need support. Both need a momentary break. An outside-experienced educator that can help refresh them both and give them new perspectives for facing tomorrow’s challenges. Mastering the Positive can provide focused and tailored sessions to meet the needs of these groups.

RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS

The breakdown of the family unit causes over ninety percent (90%) of the problems religious organizations face today. While society wrestles with such things as social media, quick-divorce, marriage definitions, and the legal meandering of laws, rules, and regulations, the end state for religious organizations is in the disintegration of the family unit. Mastering the Positive can provide focused and tailored sessions to these organizations using soft skills combined with their religious doctrine. In particular, sessions on communication, delivering constructive criticism, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills can help any family. Although an organization’s religious beliefs remain between the member and their leadership, Mastering the Positive uses appropriate biblical principles along side of the soft skills curriculum for a rewarding session.

CIVIC, PRIVATE & COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS

These organizations promote social welfare and primarily promote the common good and general welfare of the people of the community as a whole. These are typically non-profit organizations. According to the National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCS), the United States has more than 1.5 million nonprofit organizations registered. This number includes public charities, private foundations, and other types of nonprofit organizations, including chambers of commerce, fraternal organizations, and civic leagues. As social pressures continue to increase, these organizations can provide Mastering the Positive vital funding to reach large audiences that need focused support and professional assistance but struggling with tight budgets. Additionally, this segment can provide sponsorship and contributions, which will serve as revenue offsets for struggling organizations.
